Congratulations to Lucy McKay!
Lucy entered her MGeol Dissertation “The Presence and Distribution of Salts as a Palaeoprecipitation Proxy in Atacama Soils” to an international competition. It was ranked in the top 10% of all submissions to the Earth & Environmental Sciences panel, garnering a highly commended ranking from the panel. Well done Lucy! Lucy is starting a PhD program in Glasgow this fall and this award confirms what we already know here – Lucy is going far!
